The 2020 Celani Family Vineyard Chardonnay is made from estate grown grapes in the Oak Knoll District of Napa Valley. The Chardonnay was whole-cluster pressed and fermented on its lees using 40% new French oak barrels with the remainder in self-stirring egg-shaped concrete fermenters. In order to retain the Chardonnays natural acidity, malolactic fermentation was inhibited.
