If the finest Cabernets in the world are of interest to you, this iconic offering from master winemaker Pierre Seillan needs a place in your collection.
The Anakota Helena Montana Cabernet hails from the steep Knights Valley hillside vineyard in California’s Sonoma County. At 950 feet elevation, features rolling hills and well-drained gravelly loam soils. These stressed vines produce concentrated Cabernets with powerful black fruit flavours, spice, and muscular tannins, reminiscent of the great wines of Bordeaux.
A hedonistic delight, it’s apex Cabernet from this part of the world. It’s classic rich aromas of blackberries, currants, violets, chocolate, spice, and liquorice. The palate is deep and expansive, with flavours supported by soft, silky tannins, making it enjoyable now and perfect for ageing for up to 20 years.
Simply, this is one of the finest varietal Cabernets in the new world.

“Incredibly spicy and aromatic with pumice and cloves. Pops out of the glass. Cedar, too. Full-bodied with soft, polished tannins adding tension and creaminess. Long and beautiful. All about class and breeding.”
