Anyone who thinks that the Yarra Valley can’t make world-class Shiraz should drink this! Perfectly crafted with a silky structure and a captivating perfume, all from old vine and estate-grown fruit.

The grapes for Seville Estate’s Reserve Shiraz come from the McMahon family’s original vineyard plantings from 1972, giving the wine the power and concentration you’d expect from older vines. Fermentation takes place in open-top vats, with wild yeasts and 30% whole bunches added in for extra aromatics and soft structure.

Aged for 12 months in used French 500L barrels, and bottled without fining or filtration. Delicious now, but will reward patient cellaring.
