Georges Duboeuf was one of the most famous names in all of Beaujolais until his passing in 2020.

An icon of the region, Duboeuf was dubbed The Pope of Beaujolais by Decanter, as he in his lifetime did perhaps more than anyone to elevate the name and reputation of his region.

This cuvee hails from the ancient gravelly soils of the Cote du Py climate of Morgon, known for its power and intensity.

A brilliant blueberry hue characterizes this vintage. It exudes charm with black cherry marmalade aromas and subtle white pepper notes. Powerful and rich with solid tannins, the wine boasts substantial character and persistence, marrying strength with elegance.
