At 550 metres above sea level lies a 20 year old vineyard in Sicily that is the fruit source for this fresh and earthy expression of Nero d’Avola.

The grapes hang out on skins for 2 months, then go into a concrete tank to age for a year. It comes out as a wine full of personality and the classic Lamoresca charm that fans of this producer know and love.

Raspberries, purple florals, cherries, earthiness and a bitter amaro-like twang. Killer stuff.
