Barbera is such a good everyday drinking red at all different price points.

The latest Architects of Wine expression from the Adelaide Hills is at the premium end, and deservedly so – it’s just got lovely fruit behind it, great acidity and it rolls very easily across the palate and down the throat.

It’s a ‘natural’ wine, that has seen no winery additions save for a smidge of sulphur, so there is a slight natty edge that adds complexity without taking away the core purity of this underrated grape.
