Nestled in the Bot River area, this wine is a true reflection of the vineyard’s rocky mountainside site with Overberg Shale and Table Mountain Sandstone soils.The 19-year-old vines contribute to the wine’s remarkable texture and complexity. The fruit was hand-picked, destemmed, and naturally fermented without any added yeasts. The wine was then aged for 14 months in 30% new oak barrels.

On the nose, the 2021 Cabernet Franc offers an enticing bouquet of blackberries, liquorice, and cloves, complemented by fresh herbaceous notes.
