The fruit for this wine comes from the ‘baby bushes’ of the Old Garden Vineyard, originally planted in 1853.

These old vines were at the end of their fruiting life, so in 1998 they replanted it with younger bushes propagated from these old, historic vines.

It’s a brambly, earthy and rustic wine – spice, herbs, purple florals sit happily alongside blue and black berries and plums. A delightful drop.
