When Eleana Anderson and Jo Marsh tackle Tempranillo, they come at it with vastly different approaches.

Eleana’s estate Tempranillo from Mayford is deep, powerful, ripped with tannin and built for the cellar. Jo’s Billy Button expression is typically lighter on its feet, more about bright fruit, supple texture and immediate drinking appeal.

For the Anderson & Marsh bottling, they split a parcel of fruit, make their own wine, then blend the two together, giving you the best of both worlds.

This shows power, plushness and exotic spice. An exceptional Victorian Tempranillo, right at the top of the tree for Australian expressions of the variety.
