Here is an excellent example of the controlled power that Giaconda exemplifies when handling Shiraz.

This Beechworth Shiraz is matured in a multitude of different vessels, from small French oak barrels to 1600L casks, and terracotta amphora. An incredible 10 months on skins allow for the tannins in this wine to soften and integrate fully into the wine before release.

It’s classic Beechworth, combining bold blue fruits, charcuterie notes and epic depth of flavour. It’s a fantastic example of Victorian Shiraz that will do very well with 5+ years in the cellar.
