Led by winemaker Ben Glaetzer, this single-vineyard Dolcetto showcases the outstanding quality of fruit from one of South Australia’s hidden gem regions in Langhorne Creek. The 2022 vintage benefits from a long ripening season, aided by cooling lake winds and ample winter rains, resulting in a wine with lovely fruit and wonderful structure.

Fermented at low temperatures and left on skins for several hours, this Dolcetto boasts a deep purple core with generous aromas of plums, wild forest berries, and fresh thyme. It’s soft and juicy but with the variety’s typically robust tannins, making it an ideal red to pair with a wide range of foods. The nine months in stainless steel, with no oak influence, has preserved its youthful freshness.

A deliciously approachable red from a producer very capable of producing some of the best value reds in South Australia.
