In search of a new vineyard growing Gewurztraminer, AJ Hoadley found the perfect spot: a high altitude, cool, east-facing slope in Great Southern.

He got a little more than he bargained for, ending up with a few extra tonnes of Gewurz.

The wine is floral, textured, lively and beautifully perfumed. The perfect thing with a plate of fish and chips of a spicy asian curry.
