Vermentino can be neutral at times, sometimes bland or insipid. Not the case here. Wild fermented with a few days on skins and released after a good rest in bottle – it takes Vermentino into delicious new territory.
It’s glassy, saline and cut with a nervy acidity. More time in bottle will reveal more levels of detail and flavour, if you can keep your hands off it, that is.

“Its gently nutty, saline, honey and chamomile, and more of those things than fruit in a way, though there is a preserved lemon and tangerine thing. Its tangy, a fine chalky grip to texture, salted pistachio and almond, with a waxy and dusty textured finish. Very nice.”
