Erin Pooley is a very considered, younger-generation winemaker making great waves in Australia.

Her 2022 Beechworth Shiraz is sourced from the fertile soils of Warner Vineyard, picked and fermented to highlight the blue fruit and cold stone elements of cool-climate Shiraz, and aged primarily in French barrique.

This Shiraz offers medium weight with darker fruit spectrum scents and flavors, featuring plum, choc-liquorice, cassis, and lavender, with a smooth, supple palate and a long finish.

In a region full of intense and powerful Shiraz, this is gorgeously elegant and balanced, like all of Erin’s wines, and is simply a delight to drink.
