The 2022 Ori Marani Nita Saperavi is a captivating natural wine from the Kakheti region of Georgia, crafted with precision and passion by small artisanal producer Ori Marani.

Made from 100% Saperavi grapes, this wine uses semi-carbonic maceration, drawing inspiration from the Beaujolais tradition with a Georgian twist.Harvested from an organically farmed vineyard at 700 meters altitude, the grapes underwent meticulous sorting before being placed whole cluster into traditional Georgian qvevris with an addition of pressed juice. Fermentation and maceration lasted around 14 days using indigenous yeasts. The wine was then aged in old French oak barrels and qvevri for an additional 6 months.

The nose is filled with enticing aromas of black cherries, wild strawberries, vanilla, and a hint of eucalyptus. On the palate, this medium-bodied wine offers a fresh and delicate experience, with flavors of raspberries and licorice, supported by smooth tannins. The finish is refreshingly crisp and sappy.
