The 2022 Villard Expresion Chardonnay from the Casablanca Valley is a vibrant and expressive wine, crafted from some of the coolest vineyards in the region.

Hand-harvested and destemmed, the Chardonnay undergoes fermentation in stainless steel and is aged in a mix of steel and oak for one year. This process, along with the cool climate vineyards, results in a fresh and crisp, medium-bodied style.

On the nose, it offers aromas of pineapple, papaya, and stone fruit, with hints of dried fruits and brioche. The palate is bright and lively, with delightful notes of white peach and green apple, lively acidity, and a pronounced saline mineral zip. A touch of buttery complexity from malolactic fermentation and French oak aging adds an extra dimension.
