Classic Hunter Semillon with a huge review and very reasonable price tag here from Liz and Shaun Silkman. This vintage bursts with fresh citrus and green apple aromas. On the palate, its crisp and vibrant, featuring zesty acidity and hints of lemon and lime.
Fermented with neutral yeast and bottled early, this Semillon retains its bright freshness. While its perfect for drinking right now, it also promises to develop richer complexity with another decade or so in the cellar.
Perfect with fresh seafood or on its own, this is an easy-drinking delight at a snip of a price.

“A stunning semillon with amazing purity, freshness and flavour. It is classical in nature, though it has just enough inherent palate generosity, reflecting the slightly higher alcohol, to make it approachable as a young wine. Glorious lemon juice characters persist through the length of the palate, and there’s lovely grapefruit pithiness on the close. It is made from a blend of fruit from the Murphy and Blackberry vineyards. Cool-fermentation. No lees maturation. Drinking beautifully now, though will cellar in the short- to mid-term. Incredible value.”
