Moorooduc Estate has been part of the Mornington Peninsula landscape since the early 80s, when Richard and Jill McIntyre planted their first vines. Still family-run and very much hands-on, the estate has built a reputation for making Pinot Noir that feels classic but never overworked.

The 2023 Pinot brings together fruit from the home block and a few neighbouring sites, giving a nice mix of Morningtons soils and aspects. In the winery, its all kept pretty simple wild ferment, gentle handling, and French oak used carefully so the fruit stays front and centre.

What you get is a Pinot thats bright and aromatic with just enough savoury depth to keep it interesting. Its a wine thats ready to enjoy now but will only get better with a bit of time in the cellar. Straightforward, delicious and very true to both the vintage and the Moorooduc style.
