ABERLOUR CASG ANNAMH BATCH RELEASE #4 SINGLE MALT SCOTCH WHISKY 48% 700ML

The Casg Annamh series from Aberlour takes its name from the Gaelic for “rare cask”, and a trio of casks are used to create the expressions – European oak sherry casks and two types of American oak cask.

The result is brimming with toffee and dried fruit, alongside a generous handful of kitchen spices. This is the fourth batch from the series, delivering yet more Speyside single malt tastiness.

TASTING NOTES

NOSE:
Honey on toast, red liquorice, melted butter, dates and Brazil nuts.

TASTE:
Flapjack with chocolate chips, honeyed cereals, ground nutmeg and cinnamon, a hint of red wine booziness.

FINISH:
Banana fritters, pancakes, sultanas and coffee.
