Zarate is a family-owned estate located in Meao, in the Ras Baixas appellation. The current winemaker Eulogio Pomares has started to work organically, he uses shells and seaweed from the coastline to enrich the soils naturally. In the cellar, he is low intervention and his wines are characterised by their Atlantic freshness and age-worthiness.
