Plenty of florals on the nose, as well as bright red berries, and that earthy note that’s typical of Rufete. The palate is medium bodied, with rich dark fruit notes, and fine tannins. Aged in oak, but barely noticeable.

DSG is the personal project of young winemaker David Sampedro Gil. David founded his own winery with the with the aim of producing his more personal wines, between Navarra and La Rioja. Alongside wife Melanie Hickman, he started a mission to rescue old vines with high quality grapes, converting the land to biodynamic farming, and creating single vineyard wines.
