ORGANIC

This is a funand easygoing Tempranillo from Ribera del Duero. In the glass, you’re presented with a beautiful purple hue. The nose displays wildflowers and morello cherries. On the palate, there is a nice, fresh acidity along with muscular dark fruit flavours that complement the well-integrated alcohol and tannins. It has a nice finish with a hint of oak coming through, from the six months spent in French barrels. This is a lighter style of Ribera that still packs a pleasing punch.

Felix Callejo set up this winery in 1989 on the highest point of the Douro valley, with the temperature shift between day and night enabling a perfect balance of freshness and maturity. The vines are over 40 years, planted on loamy clay soils.
