Easy Montepulciano from one of the earliest wine growers cooperatives in Abruzzo. Juicy, savoury, full of plum and dark fruit, warm leather, and a round, chocolaty finish.

Cantina Sociale Frentana is located in Rocca San Giovanni, on the sunny hills of Abruzzo, a small region that’s almost entirely covered with vineyards and olive groves. Founded in the 50’s, the co-op is made up by families of local winegrowers, who focus on native varieties, and promoting ethics and sustainability in the vineyard. High quality viticulture is also aided by the slow-but-sure conversion to organic practices that’s been happening in the last years.
