Ultis was created by Master Blender Sandy Hyslop as a tribute to the five generations of Chivas master blenders who came before him. The five single malts he chose each represent one of those blenders’ distilleries. Strathisla is the heart of the blend, as it has always been at the core of Chivas Regal, delivering malty, fruity character with a subtle sweetness. Longmorn adds creamy vanilla toffee. Tormore brings rich citrus and orange notes. Allt-a’Bhainne contributes spice and balance. Braeval rounds everything with complex floral notes, thick honey, and leather. All five are from Speyside and all are distilled exclusively in copper pot stills.
