Contraluz, the first maker of a Cristalino Mezcal, first matures their mezcal for approximately 6 months in charred American Oak Barrels and filters through activated charcoal-thus creating a crystal clear liquid. Contraluz Cristalino has green agave, citrus (orange and lemon peel), blossom, and light smoke on the nose.
