Tasting Notes

Aroma
It has positive aromatics, gentle at first, then assertive; there are all the vibrant briary, brambly notes that you would expect. Theres a brooding quality about the wine that demands close inspection.

Palate
It is satiny smooth, tight and fine, but displaying its bright blackcurrant, dark liqueur cherry, blackberry, bramble flavours that are deep, satisfying and long.

Vinification
Matured exclusively in French oak barriques (45% new) for 18 months.
