Palate
A bold, muscular wine with great depth and flesh. A powerhouse of flavour. Tightly wound and deep red to black fruits this is an exciting thing to watch open and develop.

Savigny-Les-Beaune, France. Les Lavierers is a well regarded 1er Cru vineyard in Savigny-Les-Beaune, with a warm South facing orientation. Named for its clay slabs (laves) which lead to fuller bodied yet supple and often succulent wines.

Vinification
Handpicked. 15% whole bunch. Fermented for 10 days on skins, gentle hand plunged and pigeage. Indigenous yeast. 33% new French Barrique.
