Tasting Notes

Palate
A very classical style Barbaresco: elegance and velvety, with ripe and spicy fruit. Strong tannins, but elegant. Good structure and concentration.

Maturation
In big French and Slavonian oak Aubotti for at least 2 years; for a small amount in barriques as well.

Vinification
The Nebbiolo grapes sourced from multiple vineyards are blended before the fermentation in stainless steel tanks. Long skin contact maceration for 30 days at high temperatures.

Grape variety
100% Nebbiolo.

A graceful, well-toned red, with a solid construction supporting aromas and flavors of cherry, strawberry, rose and graphite. Reveals flashes of tar and white pepper as this winds down on the resonant finish. Best from 2025 through 2043.

Cherry, new leather, spice. Juicy, red fruits, but quite a bit of cinnamon and spice , tannin is grainy and theres some strawberry freshness and while the wine is lively, and kind of minerally, there is that burr of oak in the mix, which may or may not disturb you. Still, nice wine, and the fruit is good.
