Tequila Ocho Aejo Old Fitzgerald Barrel Select Las Races Estate 2024
Tequila Ocho Aejo Old Fitzgerald Barrel Select Las Races Estate 2024 is a distinctive single-estate release that brings together Ochos terroir-driven agave with the richness of wheated bourbon oak.
Crafted from agaves harvested at Las Races (2024 vintage), this aejo is aged for 12 months in Old Fitzgerald 10-Year-Old Spring 2023 Decanter Series barrels. The result is a unique fusion of vibrant agave character and deep, dessert-like barrel influence.
The wheated bourbon casks impart layered notes of coffee, toffee, cacao, and toasted oak, while Ochos signature estate expression keeps the profile lively, mineral-forward, and true to the agave. Made without additives, this is a tequila designed for whiskey drinkerscomplex, structured, and evolving beautifully in the glass.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Toasted coconut, roasted nuts, cherries, dark chocolate, maple syrup, roasted pineapple, subtle minerality
Palate: Coffee, toffee, toasted oak, orange peel, rich cacao
Finish: Soft sweetness with lingering toasted oak, fading into clean agave
