A Chianti, just declassified. The makers didn’t want to sacrifice their natural practices (like adding almost no sulphites) just to maintain their ‘Chianti’ certification, so they decided to live without the name. It ticks all the boxes though, being fruit-driven and well structured, with a fairly dry finish. The soil is fairly poor in nutrients, so all the grape’s flavours are very well developed.
