Kallstadt Riesling is an excellent introduction to the range, but it is the limestone-rich Saumagen’ vineyard that delivers the estates top wines. Produced in miniscule amounts and only in great vintages, these wines are among the most complex and ageworthy dry whites in Germany. Intense and aromatic, with ripe, slightly caramelized fruit and subtle herbal notes. On the palate, it is rich and elegant, sweet yet lively, with tropical fruit flavors and a long, structured finish.

This 2018 Auslese is crafted from meticulously hand-harvested Riesling grapes from the famed Kallstadter Saumagen vineyard in the Pfalz region. Selected for their ripeness and concentration, the grapes undergo gentle pressing and cool fermentation to preserve aromatic purity. The wine offers a luscious yet refined balance of sweetness and structure, ideal for enjoying now or cellaring for several decades.
