Named after its own purple colour, this wine was born out of a need to bring “rural realness” back to the spotlight. Light-bodied and juicy with notes ofcherry, raspberry, florals and a hint of tomato leaf. Good acidity keeps you wanting to sip.

Absolutely low intervention, with grapes fermenting spontaneously, gentle foot-stomping, and bottled unfined, unfiltered, and with no added sulphur.

Based in Velk Blovice, he combines uncompromising organic farming with a joyful sense of experimentation, working with a variety of Czech and Austrian varieties. The results are unpolished, expressive, and personal to the point of each bottle being hand-branded by Milan himself.
