Lovely, pure Negroamaro, with flora and berries on the nose. This is a velvety red, with concentrated red fruit on the palate, complemented by coffee and bittersweet chocolate notes. The flavoursfeel almost fortified, with a slight Port quality to this wine. Smooth and rich.

The grapes come from young vineyards, just a short distance from the sea, farmed organically, and maintained under the old Apulian training system called Albarello, which has been used since ancient times.
